crucible
A terminal coding agent. You type a prompt; it reads, searches, edits and runs things in the directory you started it in, and by default asks before anything that changes a file or starts a process.
- Getting started: install, a key, a first session.
- Tools: the twelve of them, and what each one is bounded by.
- Providers and models:
--model, and which key is read. - Configuration: the JSON files, and which one wins.
- Permissions: what you are asked, and what each answer means.
- Security: operating-system confinement and its exact capabilities.
- Sessions: where a session is kept,
--continue, what the model is told, and the files attached to a prompt. - Building: what to install to build it from source.
- Reference: pages to look things up in, such as every command-line flag, environment variable and key.
